Within 3 years, WIF (Webdesign International Festival) stood out as the main event for Webdesign enthusiasts; whether they are professionals or amateurs.

This international festival is an occasion for revealing talents. Not less than 40 teams made up of the best webdesigners in the world brought together in the heart of Limousin to have a 24hours of non-stop competition.

On top of the competition, the WIF has the ambition to be the international meeting point of the interactive design.

The wif purpose is to facilitate meetings and exchanges between the participants through:

• Conferences on innovation in Webdesign and interactive design
• Meetings with professionals, digital agency, clients, software publishers / producers and well known brand of the computing industry
• VIP party of networking around the design.

Today, WIF represents the passion and the commitment of the Limousin to support, acknowledge and promote the interactive design by supporting the innovation, its recognition and its development in France and worldwide.

What’s new ?

This new edition will take place from April 17th to April 19th in Limousin Region in the town of Limoges, innovation place as regards interactive design via its e-Design Excellence Pole. In order to show its involvement, WIF could become an annual event. It will welcome in April 2008, the 150 best world numerical designers for the great finale.
Numerous partners wish to involve in WIF adventure and study how they can give their support and knowledge for this new competition. As soon as the agreements will be signed, information will be on line.

The international pre-selections of WIF 2008, unlike the others editions, will be done simultaneously on line on January 18th, 2008.
All the participants will compete all together the same day on unique subject.
This will be a first stage before the live competition.

The results and the finalist selection will be announced on January 30th, 2008. The selected participants will be invited in Limoges for the Finale in April 2008.
